SANDWICH — Board of Assessors approves multiple tax abatements and exemptions in routine January meeting. Chair Larry Harrington, Vice-Chair Nick Fernandes, and member Robert James unanimously approved six separate sets of personal property abatements and real estate exemptions during an executive session January 20. The board also signed the 2025 Motor Vehicle Excise Commitment #7 totaling $25,350.40.

Director of Assessing Ben Styche reported the office has received four real estate abatement applications to date, with nine days remaining before the submission deadline.
