Board Approves Three Special Permits; Continues Church Parking Hearing
Board of Appeals · Meeting of May 12, 2026
Sandwich Board of Appeals unanimously approves three special permits. The Board granted Special Permits for 49 Freeman Avenue (Avant), 175A North Shore Boulevard (Cremaldi and Fahey), and 18 Quiet Street (Pennell), with all decisions and conditions filed in the Planning & Development office. In continued proceedings, the Board postponed action on Grace Church of Cape Cod's parking variance for 185 Service Road to June 9, requiring applicant representative Peter Vanke to file a variance application for off-site parking agreements outside the zoning-required 300-foot radius and to address Town Engineer Sam Jensen's concerns about revised stormwater calculations.
