SANDWICH — Board of Appeals denies setback variance at 12 Marshview Circle. The Board unanimously rejected a front yard variance request from Canal Land Surveying and Permitting Inc. for a plunge pool project. In a separate matter, the Board unanimously upheld Building Commissioner Ian Reid's decision regarding equipment storage at 6 Kalmia Path after neighbors John Faherty and Brenda Donovan-Faherty appealed, citing property-value concerns as they prepare to sell within six months.
Equipment had been onsite from February or March 2025; Reid found nothing suggesting contractor-yard operations.
