Sandwich Board of Assessors moves to hire for vacant assessing position, scheduling six candidate interviews. The Board of Assessors, with Vice-Chair Nick Fernandes and Director of Assessing Ben Styche present, processed a full slate of FY26 real estate exemptions and property abatements. Twenty-one applicants competed for the vacant assessing role, with six candidates scheduled for interviews on March 23 at 8:30 a.m.
In executive session, the board unanimously approved exemptions and personal property abatements while denying one real estate abatement claim.
