Five board members' terms ending in June

Sandwich Council on Aging plans board elections as five members' terms expire. Council on Aging Director Susan Marancik reported that board members Mary Ellen Anderson, Betsey Pottey, Frank MacDonald, John Vibberts, and Dawn Black will complete their terms by June 30, requiring officer elections at the June meeting. The agency provided between 2,400 and 2,500 transportation rides to approximately 200 individuals and over 6,000 health services including blood pressure checks, hearing screenings, dental exams, and pedicures.

FOSCA, the Friends of the Council on Aging, is undergoing nonprofit reorganization with state attorney general's office guidance and maintains a $15 annual membership donation.
