SANDWICH — Glass town cultural district committee authorizes $5,000 for 250th anniversary banners and renews Sandwich Chamber membership. The seven-member panel appointed Mary Childs, Melinda Gallant and Lee Repetto to plan a public art unveiling set for June 30, with artist Alfie incorporating Sandwich-specific symbols into the design. The committee will seek town attorney review of the artist contract and research consultants for a long-term public art master plan.
