Sandwich Historic District approves six Certificates of Appropriateness. The five-member committee, chaired by Diane Dileo, unanimously approved six residential applications including solar panels at 3 Locust Lane, second-floor additions at 47 Almy Avenue and 49 Freeman Avenue, and window and siding work at multiple properties. The committee approved demolition and reconstruction at 89 Wing Boulevard West, with the rebuild (Certificate #26-042RB) amended to require wood shutters after committee discussion about maintaining Cape Cod aesthetic consistency.

Committee members including Brendan Brides and Sabrina Spalding raised questions about window proportions. The committee also discussed drafting material standards for the historic district.
