Sandwich Historic District Committee approves 12 property certificates in routine meeting. The committee, chaired by Diane Dileo with members Brendan Brides, Sabrina Spalding, Chase Freeman, and Kristin Frykman, voted to approve 10 Certificates of Appropriateness unanimously and two others as amended, including solar panels at 8 Joslin Lane, renovations at 14 Scorton Marsh Road, and a 2-sided monument sign at 33 Water Street. One application for roof removal and a second-floor addition at 49 Freeman Avenue was continued to March 23 to allow the committee to review detailed drawings for a project required to raise the structure above Federal Emergency Management Agency flood requirements.
