Sandwich Historic District Committee approved eight residential and commercial property modification certificates. Committee Chair Diane Dileo, Vice Chair Richard Alger, and members Sabrina Spalding, Brendan Brides, and Corrine Ritter acted on 10 applications during the August 24 meeting, approving modifications ranging from shed construction to a 21-window replacement to a new house. Thomas and Melissa Keyes' application for a new house at 0 Water Street was approved with an amendment requiring pine trim instead of Azec trim.
Two applications were continued to the September 14 meeting.
