Sandwich Historic District Committee approves eight property certificates at regular May meeting. Chair Diane Dileo's committee unanimously approved applications for two sheds, windows, dormers, a porch, fencing, and Heritage Plantation structures during the May 11 meeting. One applicant agreed to build a wood fence instead of vinyl at 165 Main Street after members expressed concern about vinyl's appropriateness in the historic district.
The committee also received an informational presentation on a proposed 3-mile shared-use path connecting Route 130 to the Cape Cod Canal Service Road.
