SANDWICH — Housing Authority approves contracts as tenant leases change. The Sandwich Housing Authority board unanimously approved the FY 2026 Accounting Services Contract with Fenton, Ewald & Associates and the Roof Project number 261061 Certificate of Substantial Completion, along with a warrant for 281 checks totaling $704,084.28. Executive Director Eric Steinhilber announced that tenants at three Local Program properties were notified their leases will not be renewed and outlined expansion plans for Local Programs through partnership with Sandwich Public Schools to assist families experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.
Two public housing units will be ready to lease on March 1, with capital projects review scheduled for May.
