Sandwich Housing Authority establishes nonprofit subsidiary for affordable housing with $50,000 funding. The five-member board unanimously confirmed 24 Tom's Way LLC as a nonprofit affiliated entity to develop and manage new affordable housing units and approved the initial capital transfer from the Local Programs account. Chairman Tobin Wirt presided as the board also unanimously declared three properties available for disposition: 1 Castle Lane in Sandwich, 7 Emerald Way in Forestdale, and 12 Sherwood Lane in Sandwich.
Executive Director Eric R. Steinhilber reported ongoing operations including three vacancies at Hansen Village under maintenance turnover.
