Sandwich Planning Board approves tree removal and scenic road amendment. Tree Warden James Sacco reported a large silver maple at 118 Tupper Road sustained major limb damage in February's blizzard; the Board unanimously approved removal pending Eversource power-line coordination and requiring replanting. The Board endorsed approval-not-required parcels at 24 Grove Street (land conveyance) and 20 Hirsch Road (lot-line adjustment), and unanimously approved amendments to the Scenic Road Bylaw removing private roads from protection.
A special permit amendment for Ridge Club CC, LLC's proposed reduction of the buffer to Hog Pond from 200 feet to 50 feet was continued to May 19 pending applicant submission of the 1987 recorded plan, fencing details, and management documentation.
