Sandwich approves marina rate increases

SANDWICH — The Select Board approved Sandwich Marina rate increases tied to rising electricity costs, raising seasonal transient slip fees from $3.50 to $4.50 per foot with unanimous support (5-0). The Board authorized Town Manager Dunham to sign a three-year Payment-in-lieu-of-Tax Agreement with JERA for Canal generating units 1 and 2, including level funding for FY'27 followed by 8 percent annual decreases in the subsequent two years (5-0). Peter Marancik and Jonathan Murray were appointed as alternate members to the Bikeways and Pedestrian Committee (5-0).
A public hearing on a Class II Used Car Dealer License for Hi Pro Motorcars was tabled to April 2 due to the applicant's absence.
