Sandwich Charter Finalized After State Approval
The Town of Sandwich announced this week that its updated Town Charter has been finalized after approval by the Massachusetts Legislature and Governor, a milestone officials called an important step for local governance, while road resurfacing work began July 8 on Christopher Hollows Road.

Separately, the Department of Public Works confirmed that resurfacing of Christopher Hollow Road and nearby roadways began July 8. Crews will work 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and while access to area homes may be periodically delayed during the workday, full access will be restored each evening.
The town also posted official results from the May 4 Annual Town Meeting and the May 7 Annual Town Election, thanking residents who participated.
