Sandwich Historic District rejects Tupper Road cupola proposal in 3-2 split vote. Chair Diane DiLeo voted no along with Members Corrine Ritter and Sabrina Spalding, determining the addition would not be historically appropriate, while Members Richard Alger and Brendan Brides supported the application. The committee approved 20 other Certificates of Appropriateness during its June 8 meeting, mostly routine solar installations and window replacements, though a vinyl fence at 74 Knott Avenue also passed narrowly 3-2 with conditions requiring Zoning Board of Appeals approval.
