Sandwich Police Department Earns State Re-Accreditation

TOWN HALL
The Town of Sandwich announced that the Sandwich Police Department has once again earned re-accreditation from the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission. Separately, the town has taken its short-term rental survey offline to address an error; officials said the survey will be reissued in about a month and thanked residents for their patience as the town works to accurately capture community input on the issue.
The Department of Public Works and Police Department are also promoting the "Slow Down, In Our Town" public safety campaign as Sandwich enters a busy stretch of America 250 celebrations and peak summer visitation. Meanwhile, resurfacing work on Kiahs Way, between Quaker Meetinghouse Road and Mill Road, began August 10 and continues on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
