Sandwich school DEIB subcommittee approves prior meeting minutes and reviews district initiatives. The subcommittee voted 3-0 on January 28 to approve minutes from prior sessions held May 7 and November 13, 2025. Chair Tracey Goodwin and members Alexis Higgins and Kaleigh Adams received updates from Dr.
David Quinn and Dr. Joe Maruszczak on culturally responsive teaching practices, cell phone management resources, and the new DEIB Regional Coordinators Group. The district also reported implementation of a required anti-bullying course for athletics covering hazing prevention, social media, and sportsmanship, with a February update planned for the Bullying Prevention Plan.
