Sandwich Select Board approves three liquor licenses, appoints committee members

Sandwich Select Board in routine session approves three alcohol licenses and committee appointments unanimously. Committee appointments included Bob King to the Sandwich Historical Commission and as the Historical Society's Community Preservation Committee representative, Sarah Sherman Clark as Historical Commission alternate, and Matt Schimmel to the CPC. Town Manager Bud Dunham reported the health insurance assessment came in at 8 percent versus an estimated 15 percent, freeing $800,000 for potential capital and emergency reserve allocation.

The board approved annual on-premises all-alcohol licenses for La Passerella at 8 Jarves Street and Orianna A. Jewelers at 8 Merchants Road, plus an alteration consolidating Belfry Inne and Bistro Inc. to 6 Jarves Street.
