Sandwich Water District advances PFAS treatment pilot with state approval. Superintendent Dan Mahoney reported that the Department of Environmental Protection approved the pilot test and the operational pump is now in place. The district processed $830,533.57 in accounts receivable against $890,039.00 in billing commitment and faces $17,500 in system development fees for two municipal projects: the Community Health Center on Route 6A at $10,000 and Wing School residences phase 2 at $7,500.
The Cape Cod Municipal Health Group eliminated GLP-1 medication coverage beginning July 1; health insurance rates will rise 8 percent.
