Sandwich Select Board advances $42.2 million school budget to town meeting. The board unanimously recommended the FY'27 operational budget, a 2.6 percent increase driven by staff contractual obligations, increased special education out-of-district placements, and an 8 percent utilities increase, with current enrollment at 2,111 students expected to remain stable. The board also unanimously approved an annual on-premises wine and malt liquor license for Snowy Owl Coffee Roasters at 161 Route 6A, approved installation of a utility pole on Tupper Road for Eversource and Verizon, and finalized the May 4 Annual Town Meeting warrant.
