Sandwich Select Board unanimously approved updated Personnel Policies and Procedures for 305 full-time and 38 part-time town employees, adding standards for artificial intelligence use and providing full jury duty compensation throughout service rather than offsetting court-paid fees. The policies include a new Conflict of Interest Policy and represent the first comprehensive update since July 2022. The board also unanimously approved a Change of Class from Seasonal to Annual for the on-premises all alcoholic beverages license held by La Passerella at 8 Jarves Street with Lauren Matuozzi as manager.
In a third unanimous action, the Select Board voted to reduce Commission on Disability membership from 11 to 7 voting members, citing quorum difficulties.
