Sandwich Visitor Services Board approves $2,500 for Colorful Kidz event. Chair Heidi Trottier presided over the March 10 meeting, which approved a $2,500 funding request for the Village Market & Yard Sale Event supporting Colorful Kidz, a local nonprofit that creates room makeovers for children in need. The motion by Daryl Crossman, seconded by Heather Mead, passed with two abstentions from Kathy Aubin and Carol Hanson.
The funding will support event promotion, American Legion rental, and signage for the town-wide yard sale and accompanying furniture-flipping competition and vintage market.
