Library board reviews bylaws as gun petition draws public comment

SANDWICH — Library board adjusts meeting time, tables gun petition debate. Chair Kathleen McDermott's board voted 5-2 to approve February minutes, with Gretchen Mulroy and Colleen Clabault abstaining, and moved meeting time from 7 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. effective immediately. Library Director Diane Costagliola reported an April 27 system migration affecting the integrated library system; operations resume April 30.
The board tabled discussion of a May Town Meeting warrant article that would permit firearms in municipal buildings, including libraries, until April.
